About JD Saver

JD Saver was born out of a simple frustration: **job hunting is hard enough, and keeping track of application details shouldn't require copy-pasting text or paying $30/month.**

We saw that LinkedIn has no native export functionality. When roles expire, descriptions vanish. Workarounds usually involve copying unformatted text or subscribing to complex, expensive suites like Teal or Huntr that bundle resume builders, database syncing, and tools that most job hunters simply do not need.

We built JD Saver to fill this gap. It is a lightweight, local-first Chrome extension that parses job boards in the background and saves full profiles directly into your browser memory. You get clean exports, built-in application boards, and complete data ownership—with zero email signups or subscriptions to start.

Our Core Philosophies

Local-First Architecture

Your job applications, companies under review, and networking contacts are stored entirely in your local browser sandbox. No user signups, no external databases.

Clean Formatting

We translate messy HTML DOM nodes into structured Markdown, formatted PDFs, and clean copy text. Bullet lists and styling stay intact.

Affordable Tooling

Our Pro tier is priced at just $2.99/mo to fund maintenance. We don't believe in locking job seekers into heavy $30-40/mo ecosystems.

Independent & Open

We provide CSV and JSON bulk downloads so you can pack up your job search logs and load them into Excel, Sheets, or Notion whenever you want.
